Updating Your Gosadi Project and Syncing to Ravelry

GoSadi lets you update your projects from any device and sync your updates to Ravelry. Add private notes for yourself, public notes to share with others, and chnage your project status as you work.

Add Project Updates

1. Navigate to your WIPs in your project manager

2. Click on the project you want to update

3. Click Update Project

Add Private Notes

Private notes are only visible to you and won't appear publicly.

1. In the Private Notes field, add notes for yourself

EXAMPLE: “Remember to check gauge after blocking"

Add Public Notes

Public notes are visible to others and will sync to Ravelry if you enable syncing.

1. In the Public Notes field, add updates you want to share

EXAMPLE: "Used 3.45mm hook to start. Then switched to hook called for in pattern after row 6."

Update Project Status

1. Select your project's current status from the dropdown:

In Progress
On Hold/Hibernation
Finished
Frogged

Enable Ravelry Sync

1. Check the box Sync my project updates from GoSadi to Ravelry

NOTE: Syncing is optional but recommended so your projects stay updated across all your project trackers.

2. Click Save Project Details

View Your Updates on Ravelry

1. Go to Ravelry and navigate to My Projects

2. Find your project

3. Your updates will show:

Updated project status (e.g., moved from hibernation back to in progress)
Public notes you added
Private notes remain hidden from public view

Update Projects Anywhere

You can update your projects from:

Your phone
Your desktop
Any device you're using

As long as you enable the sync option, your updates will push to Ravelry automatically.
