Set-up your Maker Profile and Maker Landing Page (MLP)

Your Maker Landing Page showcases your makes, favorite patterns, and designers you follow. Set up your profile, customize your page, and share your project updates with the GoSadi community.

Customize Your Profile Information

1. Navigate to your Maker Profile settings

2. Enter your display name (what you want to be called on GoSadi)

3. Choose whether to Show or Hide your page

Select Show to make your page visible to the community
Select Hide to keep your profile private

4. Choose whether to Show or Hide your email address

5. Add your website or blog URL (optional)

6. Add your newsletter link (optional)

7. Choose whether to show your location

GoSadi uses your location for local yarn store and event features

8. Write your About Me section: Describe yourself, your making journey, or what you love to create

Add Social Links

1. Scroll to the Social Links section

2. Add links to any social channels where you want to build your community:

Instagram
Facebook
YouTube
Pinterest
TikTok
Other platforms

Create Your Custom URL

1. Enter your preferred name in the Custom Name field

2. Your Maker Landing Page URL will be: gosadi.com/maker/[your-custom-name]

NOTE:  If you're also a GoSadi Designer, you can use the same custom name. Designer pages use gosadi.com/designer/[name] and Maker pages use gosadi.com/maker/[name].

3. Click Publish

4. Your Maker Landing Page is now live!

SHARE YOUR MAKES ON YOUR LANDING PAGE

Add Project Updates to Your Landing Page

1. Navigate to your WIPs section

2. Click on a project

3. Scroll down and click Leave an Update

4. Write your update

5. Check the box Share to my Maker Landing Page

6. Click Save Update

7. Go to your Maker Landing Page and refresh

8. Your make now appears under My Makes

NOTE:  As you add projects to your WIPs and mark them as finished objects, they'll appear under "My Makes" on your landing page when you share them.

SHOWCASE PATTERNS YOU LOVE

Add Patterns to Your Landing Page

Patterns you mark as favorites automatically appear on your Maker Landing Page.

1. Browse patterns in your Dashboard Feed or search for patterns

2. Click the heart icon to become a fan of a pattern

3. The pattern is added to Patterns that I Love

4. Go to your Maker Landing Page and refresh

5. The pattern now appears under Things I Like

6. Visitors can click Show All to see your complete pattern collection

TIP:  When you like a pattern, the heart icon fills in to show you're a fan. All patterns you love appear on your landing page, whether they're in your feed or not.
