Deleting Patterns From Your Product Library
GoSadi provides its designers the flexibility to manage patterns from end-to-end through the platform. As a Designer whose patterns and branding evolves, there might be times when you’d like to sunset or make a pattern obsolete and unavailable. There is always the option to Archive a pattern, but when Archiving isn’t what you want, you can delete patterns from GoSadi.
A Delete action is substantial, because it removes all pattern information and data from GoSadi. Deleting a pattern removes it and its associated data from the GoSadi platform. It is important to keep in mind Deleting on GoSadi does NOT delete your pattern from any Selling Channel that you have already published or synced to.
Special Notes About Delete
Before you use the Delete feature in GoSadi, be aware of the following:
Delete is not reversible. Once deleted, a pattern cannot be retrieved or undeleted.
Delete automatically removes the pattern from the active Product Library and the DLP. If it was archived prior to deletion, it will remove it from the Archived Library.
Again - Delete does NOT delete a pattern from Selling Channels; it only deletes it from GoSadi
Delete doesNOT impact the pattern’s publication or visibility on Selling Channels (Ravelry, Etsy, etc.).
How to Delete a Pattern
Designers have the ability to delete patterns individually. As an extra precaution, GoSadi does not have a bulk delete feature.
Delete a Pattern
Expand Manage Products in the left-hand side panel and navigate to Product Library
Select the pattern for deletion, then choose the Delete icon for that pattern on the right side
Confirm that you would like to delete the pattern
The pattern will disappear from the active Product Library, from your DLP, and all its associated data will be delete from the GoSadi database
