KNOWN ISSUE 12.11.2025 - DESIGNERS: POPULATING RAVELRY STORE AND SOURCE

GoSadi Related Docs

Ravelry Primary Publication Source

A new issue has been discovered

In some instances, the default Ravelry store is not auto-populating on the Ravelry Selling Channel page.  When the store is not populated, the pattern PDF is not always syncing to Ravelry as intended.

Who is impacted:

Anyone who

  • Is creating a new pattern to publish (or sync) to Ravelry

  • Has multiple stores in Ravelry

Populating Ravelry Store and Source

Next Steps:

When this issue is fixed and tested, we will alert you through our published Release Notes and our Discord community.

In the meantime, to make sure you’re all set to sync, watch the video above and/or follow these steps.

When publishing a new pattern or converting a free pattern to paid

  1. Navigate to the pattern's Selling Channels tab

  2. Click on Ravelry

  3. Click the Store dropdown

  4. Select your Ravelry store from the dropdown if it wasn’t already selected

  5. Add your store as an Additional Ravelry Store Source

  6. Add any other publication sources (blogs, websites, collaborations, etc.)

  7. Select your Primary Publishing Source

  8. Click Publish to Ravelry

GoSadi will send both:

  • The pattern PDF to your selected Ravelry store

  • Links to any free sites or additional sources you added

Important: You must select your store if you want to send the pattern PDF to Ravelry. Some designers have multiple stores, which is why GoSadi requires you to choose which store receives the PDF.

Note: Store and source are technically different on Ravelry. Your store is where the PDF lives. Sources are all the places your pattern is available.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we strive to improve your experience with GoSadi.
